It’s very annoying to find plugins that have tagged BuddyPress but they really don’t integrate with BuddyPress. Too bad you have decided to do that.

Andrew, This was a bug related to WP 4.5 not AnsPress. To fix this please use Advance WP link plugin.

Could use a filter in your email and automatically forward.
