Hello, first off, you have done an AMAZING job with this plugin.  Thank you for allowing people to download it.

 

We keep adding the widget Anspress Ask form to our footer, and it looks pretty good until we start uploading pictures, then the pictures upload right to the form and pictures we upload for other posts on our site, are shown as uploaded to the Ask Form, when they should not be made public and have nothing to do with the form (Because we never uploaded them to the actual form, they were uploaded to other posts, but the form somehow uploaded them to it, too).  How do you stop this from happening?  Please see below…this are photos we added to other posts, but they are showing up in our widgetized Ask form – extending the length of the form in our footer, throwing things off.

well in my forum, only participants user basic capability couldn’t be saved. It accepts the check mark and saves but when you check it again it shows all the options for basic capablity as unchecked.. Rest every group is working fine.. Please help?

It seems that all the “pages” of the Anspress platform are sitting on the same page – The same page I have just embeded the [anspress] code. So all the pages have the same title.

I would like that the question pages will dynamically change the html title – same like here – so those questions can be marked in search engines under their unique titles.

Any ideas?

I would like to add those sidebars to the my Q&A pages – I am using the Anspress pluggin and not the theme. Can I just include them with some shortcut and edit some CSS?

I am using the editor text, and everything is working fine. I embed a video to the content

and the video is added to the text editor! which is great, but once I post the content to go live, the video code is just stripped off.

Solution number one is oembed – I know that if the users will just paste the url of the video as a regualr text, it will work once I have oembed plugin activated, but I want it to work through the text editor function of embedding a video. It seems that the Anspress strip off the iframe of the video once I post it.

Any ideas?

The text editor appeared for a while but it disappeared again. The case is worse on mobile devices where it does not load at all.

I wish you could give us an option of leaving the text editor open by default.

I have updated to the latest Anspress version.

 

Hi all!

I’ve been checking past translation issues discussions and it seems I have found new ones. For all of them, the string are translated in .po file but translation is not taken into account. Here they are:

“Posted” is translated fine in question but not in answer. There is only one string for “Posted” in the .po file.

All strings related to the “new” ajax form doesn’t seem to make it to the frontend while they are translated in the .po file.

I’ll add new ones if I found any. ?

Hi all!

I saw that 3.0.1 fixes a translation loading issue. AnsPress is perfectly loading them from its own “Languages” folder but it doesn’t load the one from wp-content/languages/plugins. It’s not a big deal but it used to work well and it allows to not lose custom translation every time you update the plugin.

Could this be fixed in a future release?

PS: French translation is undergoing a complete rewrite with the help of fr.wordpress.org translators community. ?
