Hi Rahul. Seems that the email notifications aren’t being sent to uses when they get a response – at least, I’ve not received any. Additionally, the ability to modify your account seem to have disappeared too ?

Up until recently WPML was working perfectly fine for me while using both plugins.

Now it seems like there a compatibility issue. I’ve tried to downgrade AnsPress which solved the problem but only when I’m downgrading to version 3.0.6. The next one I was able to find was 4.0.2 but nothing else between them.

  1. Where can I find other versions of AnsPress?
  2. Can the compatibility issue be solved somehow? I’m using both plugins for a long time now and changing one of them isn’t really practical 🙂

Upgraded to 4.1.0 to see what the changes are. Looks fantastic, apart from some minor “changes” ?

  • ASK page now works as a page in it’s own right. This is great, but you lose the slug (in my case, “community”) so (example) https://www.phenomlab.com/community/ask now becomes https://www.phenomlab.com/ask. Not that big a deal, but doesn’t look great from the cosmetic perspective
  • Add-Ons seem to be broken in terms of layout – looks as though JS or CSS is not being loaded properly. I thought that this may be a caching issue, but it isn’t. Nothing logged in the developer console either. Actually, it does appear “functional”, but not really intuitive.
  • Questions now appear like “post views” – is this intentional ? It’s broken my layout slightly ?

Using the AnsPress theme I tried selecting another page to use as my static homepage from the theme’s customization area. I’ve set “Front Page Displays” to “A static page” but no matter what I select it still defaults to the main AnsPress page. Please let me know how I can create a static page as the default on the domain.

The toggles flip green but when I click Save they reset to disabled.

Email and Reputation are the only ones that stay enabled after saving.
