Hello AnsPress Owner(s)/Maintainers,
As mentioned in 2 separate questions that I posted on the Support Forum, I have 2 enhancements to AnsPress given below that I would like to contribute via GitHub pull request:

  1. Added a new filter to customize the Ask Button text on the base page. Default Text is ‘Ask question’.
  2. Added new validate method ‘is_checked’ for the Checkbox field. This method will help in situations when the checkbox field is required to be checked before the form (Ask Question Page) can be submitted.

I have tested my changes locally and it is working perfectly as expected. Could you point me in the right direction to submit these changes. Do I create a fork on AnsPress project in GitHub, make the changes on the fork, commit the changes and then create a pull request? Also, can I submit both changes in a single pull request? Please specify the steps and I will submit the enhancements on hearing from you. Thanks!

Hello – I’m adding a custom checkbox field to the Ask Question page and have a requirement that the user is required to check the field before posting the question. I’m not finding a pre-built method to check for this validation and after taking a closer look believe that a new validate method (validate_is_checked) should be added to the “\plugins\anspress-question-answer\lib\class-validate.php” file. Rahul, could you please confirm if this is correct. I can add the method and submit on GitHub for your review and commit on hearing from you. Thanks to Rahul for the great work on creating this very useful plugin!

Hi! I have a problem when i try to upload image in a new question. Apparently the image is upload (menssage: successfully uploaded image). But the modal doesn’t quit and nothing happend.

But nevertheless, if i try to upload image in a comment work perfectly.

I check the console error and i detect a problem with the function “insertContent” i tried change the jquery version but doesn’t work.

Can anyone help me?
