I installed the plugin today and asked a question to test it out, and it doesn’t give me the option to answer it. I’ve tried it both signed in and out of my account. I allow anonymous answers, default label is “open”. I think I left all the default settings.

I run a wordpress site and use the qtranslate multilingual plugin.

Just added a Users page for Anspress. I see that ALL users are revealed. Admins ids also.

Can that be changed ?

For all non-admin users (subscribers-editors in my case) there is Anspress menu that goes to Dashboard.

Confusing. Is there a reason for it ?

When i install (and reinstall attempts) Anspress latest, the two db tables are not created for some reason. No matter what. No errors in installing and activating the plugin, but after that error appear in the dashobard like:

I use WP 4.0.1 and Anspress latest. Under Cloudlinux and LiteSpeed. My website has 22 plugins, all working great, not a single problem. I have changed Theme also, no luck. This is a problem of Anspress.

My Sign Up form shows “Email” and “Password” but it should show “Email” and “Username.” I believe this is causing my sign up form to not function. Please advise how to fix this.

For some time, I have a lot of comment spam on my site and I did not know why. Because I use Akismet and have safe settings.

My discussion settings are the following:

E-mail me whenever
[YES] Anyone posts a comment
[YES] A comment is held for moderation

Before a comment appears
[YES] Before a comment appears Comment must be manually approved
[YES] Comment author must have a previously approved comment

However, all comments will be published without my moderation or an E-mail to me.

And now I have noticed that it is related to the use of AnsPress plugin.

When I disable the AnsPress plugin, then the comments must be moderated again and I get an E-mail.

And the user gets the notice “Your comment is awaiting moderation.”

But is the plugin enabled, comments are simply published.

If it helps, here is a history of such an comment:

1 day ago (Fri 28 Nov 2014 @ 01:34:11 am GMT) – Comment status was changed to 1
1 day ago (Fri 28 Nov 2014 @ 01:34:11 am GMT) – Akismet caught this comment as spam

And I am using AnsPress 1.4.1

Has anybody the same problem?

I want to set my homepage to anspress & I’m trying to do so but after that links are not working. It again loads to same page.
Please help me out to solve this problem. I want only to use anspress as homepage for my site.

When install this plugin it replace the my theme menu option. I have a theme with the project option in left menu in wordpress. But When I install anspress plugin it replace the “project” in the menu with “anspress”. Could you please tell me how I can resolve this issue?
