I used it in one of my sites and it is very useful. You will be able to change all of users slugs BUT if AnsPress and it are compatible (I think they are compatible because “Edit Author Slug” and BuddyPress are compatible ). please check it and give Feedback. Actually you dont need this filter. you are not adding anything new. Try adding ANSPRESS_TITLE in base page.

You need to set width for photo: #anspress .ap-q .ap-avatar { width: 55px; }
