Like social sites, we have also added user hover card. When you hover over a user avatar or user link then this card will appear and show user details. See the screenshot.

When answering a question, I can see the “how to answer” tab, but when asking questions, although is enabled and a page is set, i can’t see where the instructions are supposed to appear.

how to changed permalink structure be customizable on Anspress  example ( example.com/anspress/777/topic-here and etc… ) or

( example.com/my-slug/post-number/topic-here and etc… )

I have a user structure under the name “Customer” integrated with WooCommerce.

But only users “AnPress Participants” can ask and respoder the plugin. It is possible to change this?

I am only getting [anspress] showing up. Where do I change what text is displayed?

I am using the plugin here, and if you hover on the comments, or status, below the question, page anchors to top & then comes back, and this repeats. What’s causing this reaction ? Test it here :

I use the plugin – WordPress Social Login. While saving the users image, it also adds the size parameters to the url. So, in the askpress plugin – when it pulls the image of the social logged in user, its like

[facebook] – http://(url)width=150&height=150

[googleplus] its like – http://(url)?sz200

These makes the formatting bad.

For facebook – if you remove the width and height from the url (using firebug), it works fine and takes the anspress settings. But in google plus, if you remove sz200, it takes the original size of the photo. I have not tested it for twitter login.

Is there a solution ? orI am doing something wrong ?

Hi Rahul,

The way that Anspress is set up as a base page with the [anspress] shortcode causes a conflict with other plugins. From reading other questions it also seems to be the issue for Yoast not showing the individual question titles for seo too 🙁

Barry: it’s suppose to be what WP calls a ‘single’ page but the base page of questions is returned by WordPress as current page
Barry: therefore my plugin (and others) will look for content of this base page (3412)”

Support: We check and problem is that WordPress detects questions as regular post/page and not in their actual type.

How to remove sidebar anspress-question-answer.1.3.1

I am new to anspress. I want to rename the base page ANSPRESS_TITLE created by default after installation of AnsPress Plugin. From documentation it seems we cannot change base page title to something else other than ANSPRESS_TITLE. Is it true? If not then can you please help me out on this.
