Went over all the threads here about 404s and didn’t find a solution…
I have added anspress to my site, configured the base page, which seems ok, but whenever I try asking a question or adding the questions from the dashboard – I always end on a 404 error page.
Would be very happy for some help.

I have a small issue with the search function. Indeed, it’s only work when the permalink is set to “plain” permalink.
I have made this ==>
Q: Getting 404 error A: Make sure base page is selected in wp-admin -> anspress -> options. Save permalink once. Make sure base page is not set to home page.
But when I put the permalink to “postname” I have something like :
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
in the chrome inspector :/ I have no search plugin.
In the option panel i’ve tried to check and un check this option but nothing there too :/
Base page slug before question permalink i.e. http://developers.simplicite.fr/BASE_PAGE/question/QUESTION_TITLE
Do you have an idea of what can be wrong here ?
