Nothing to do with Anspress. New users registration and email (all the email) is handled by WordPress.

OMG – Doh!   I didn’t realise I could remove it as a widget from the widget page – sorry!

Just remove the widget !! (not sure why you ask how to remove a widget from WP). And use a full page template in the Anspress Base page.
