I just upgraded my WordPress AnsPress to version 3.0.1 and now when I try to visit the ‘Forum’ on our site, the page just says “Shop Owners, [anspress]”. (Shop Owners is the name of the forum)

What do I need to do to get AnsPress working again?

In our WP Plugins page, there is a note at the top that says, “Category extension require AnsPress 3.0.0 or above. Download from Github http://github.com/anspress/anspress“. This doesn’t make sense, because it was my upgrading of AnsPress to 3.0.1 that caused this issue and I can see right below this message that the currently installed AnsPress IS version 3.0.1.

Please help. Thanks!

I have enabled reputation in anspress options plz help..

For some reason there’s no option to ‘sort by label’ in my current version of Anspress..

Do I need to activate this somewhere?

Thank you…

Really expected there’d be a column for followed items on the user’s profile so that they can sort just like they can everything else. It’s not like they know what will show up in their activity in the beginning. I believe being able to follow shared questions is the point of a Q&A.

Hi there,

I’m having a weird behaviour with the widget sidebar.

I have created a custom sidebar with the shortcodes of anspress and i place it in the question page via shortcode with visual composer.

I then go to anspress options and click on deactive sidebar for questions (because i have my own sidebar). I hit click so the button is no active, i save it, and then it appears again, so basically i can’t remove the sidebar included in anspress.

In my first picture you can see what i have in the question list page, and then when you hit on a question you’ll see what i mean.

Hi,

On my website, I need to have an (optional) relationship between some of my pages and some questions (it’s a 1-n relation, so my users can potentially ask a few questions related to a given post).

If I was developing this whole system from scratch, the natural way to store my relationship would be for me to use the “post_parent” column of my question to store the related page post ID.
However, I don’t want to be stuck if, one day, AP team decides to use that column for another purpose… Is there a risk for me to use that column in such a way ?

Thanks in advance

Show Questions Sidebar Stats: The option is ALWAYS ENABLED and it can’t be disabled. Saving doesn’t work apparently. No errors anywhere just the option can’t be disabled (like MANY other options in Anspress).
