Its look like this plugin does not provide any hook to filter tinymce arg. Also default tinymce args  is not working as well. Kindly consult with plugin author.

Hello Bradley, How are you? seen you after a long time. I have never tried it. Completely agree with you that advance TinyMCE should not be used in frontend. Let me try what hacks can be added to prevent Advance tinymce in frontend forms of AP.
