I want to make anspress match my blog theme, but i don’t really know how to do it. I read in a previous question that it is as easy as copying index.php from theme into index.php of anspress, but there are 5 index.php files and nothing happens when i change their content.

Pelayo,

I am expanding my answer, follow this step by step:

  1. Create a new folder called anspress inside your active wordpress theme.
  2. now copy wp-content/plugins/anspress-question-answer/theme/default/base.php to newly created folder in step #1
  3. Now you can edit base.php or copy other from AnsPress theme location.

That’s it 🙂

Thanks a lot…

I have answered this question many time. I will create a FAQ section 🙂

Not just index.php. copy the template you want to modify from anspress theme to your active_wordPres_theme/anspress.

Like you want to edit list, then copy base.php from anspress theme to your theme and now edit it.

Sorry I don’t understand… I’m a newbie with this stuff.
